Sorry about the long absence and lack of adding anything new. We have moved and I still haven't set up my craft room. Ugh! There are tons of craft boxes to go through. This is going to take a long time. But on the positive side, it will be fun to sort through it all again and see what all I have. Some times things just go in drawers because they are deals I couldn't pass up, but that I wasn't working on at that time. So I often forget some of the things that I've bought. I hope all is going on in your happy crafting world!
My name is Sandi. I love to spend my days making jewelry and other things. I also sew, quilt and make things out of polymer clay. I have never sold a piece. I love to give them away to friends. In fact one Christmas I let a friend raid my completed pieces and she was able to give all of her friends and family gifts, during a very tough economic season. I am devout Buddhist. I'm a huge animal lover, especially my Daisy, which I'm sure will have many pics on here. I'm happily married to a man that treats me with such love and devotion that I feel like the luckiest woman on Earth. I am moderately disabled and suffer from many illnesses, and I find that my crafts are a better therapy for me than I could have imagined. They keep my hands mobile and as strong as can be expected, and they let me express my self and share with others. I am the mother of 3 children, 2 of them are my husband's biological children and one is my own. Our oldest child, our daughter, had her first child this year and now I'm a Nana! And I couldn't be happier about it. I'm open to criticism, critique, and advice, or just friendly conversation. So if you have an opinion on something I've done feel free to share it with me. I often get my inspiration from other artist's work, and I collect pictures of them to give me great ideas from time to time. I try to never create a "copy" of another artists work, only to use some ideas to give me a jumping off point.
